Full driver’s licence required – All drivers are required to be at least 19 years of age and have a full drivers license (N is considered valid, L is not). Passengers must be at least 5+ years old.
Booking & Payment – A credit card is required to hold all bookings. The credit card used to book must be present when checking in on the day of your tour as well as the card holder and valid ID. By entering your credit card details you are authorizing that your card will be charged at the time of the tour if no other method of payment is presented. This applies for cancellations within 24 hours or no shows. Please note we require a minimum of 2 machines to run a tour. Any bookings for 1 machine will be tentative until another machine books at the same time.
Cancellation policy – We require at least 24 hours notice prior to your tour for any changes or cancellations. Groups of 10 or more require 72 hours notice of change or cancellation. Tours cancelled within 24 hours, ‘no shows’ or missed tour times are liable for the full price of the booking. If you arrive late there is no guarantee we will have spaces for you on a later tour and no refund will be issued. Blackcomb Snowmobile reserves the right to cancel or combine any tour due to inclement tour weather, un-foreseeable hazards or insufficient bookings. Full refunds will be made or alternate dates will be offered in this situation.
Release of liability – All guests are required to sign a Release of Liability waiver at our base prior to tour departure. Any guests under 19 must have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf and be present on tour. Please note snowmobiling involves various risks, dangers and hazards. These risks are outlined in our release of liability, waiver of claims, assumption of risks and indemnity agreement. This agreement will affect your legal rights should you be involved in an accident.
Collision Coverage – Collision coverage of $35 per driver is mandatory on all snowmobile tours. If double riders wish to take turns driving, they must each pay the collision coverage. If any damages are done to the machine while on tour, you will be liable for 100% of the damage costs.
Covid-19 – We are following the government mandates and safety guidelines outlined by WorkSafe BC with regards to opening safely, providing adequate distance and updated health & safety measures. Guests will be required to consent to a non-invasive temperature check and wearing a mask is required at all times. Masks are provided if you don’t have your own.
Alcohol and Drugs – Under no circumstances is any person suspected of intoxication permitted to participate as a driver or passenger in any tour. Persons denied participation will not receive a refund.
Health & Pregnancy – Adventure sport activities are not recommended for individuals who suffer back or neck pain and/or heart or respiratory distress. Consult your physician prior to participation. Safety regulations require that Blackcomb Snowmobile Ltd. do not permit pregnant women to ride as a driver or passenger on a snowmobile.
