Snowshoe to a private teepee

As the sun sets over the winter mountains, the snow comes alive and illuminates your journey deep into the forest radiated by the night sky on Whistler’s newest après adventure. Come upon our Teepee and be engulfed by the warmth of a hot mulled beverage and raging fire complete with world class charcuterie. This is truly the evening après adventure
that creates memories to last a lifetime.

WHAT TO WEAR?
Wear appropriate winter clothing. Jacket, pants, boots, gloves, goggles or sunglasses, and hats are recommended. Please wear any warm gear you have. We will provide Snowshoes and Pole.

WHERE TO MEET?
Snowshoe Tours depart from our Dogsled Base. You must drive approx. 20 minutes South of Whistler Village. Turn off HWY 99 onto Callaghan Valley Road then travel up this road for about 5-10 minutes. Do not go to our Snowmobile Base, the Dogsled Base is further up the road. Look for our big Dogsled sign on the Left-hand side. Then take your next left. Ample Free Parking at base. Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your tour time to check in. Google Maps “Blackcomb Dogsled Base” for directions.

We can also offer pickups from The Fairmont Chateau, Four Seasons, Nita Lake Lodge and Legends. If you are meeting us at The Fairmont, Four Seasons or The Hilton, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your tour time to meet our driver or check in. If you are meeting us in Creekside at Legends or Nita Lake Lodge, please meet us outside 15 minutes before your tour time.

DIFFICULTY
Our Daytime Teepee and Après Tour is a beginner snowshoe tour with no experience required. There will be about 40-60 minutes of snowshoeing total depending on pace. 20-30 minutes to our Teepee where you will stop and have a hot apple cider and cookie then about a 20-30 minute walk back.

Our Eagle Ridge Snowshoe Tour is more of an intermediate snowshoe experience. This will be about 1.5 hour of time snowshoeing with no stop at the Teepee.
