Our most popular tour for all ability levels

Experience pristine snowmobiling through the winding trails of the Callaghan and Brandywine Valley. This tour is great for all ability levels, including adventurous beginners who are excited about trying snowmobiling! Discover all the thrills of the backcountry while riding at your groups pace, with opportunities to take incredible photos on the way. Our 2 hour trail riding tours include a snack and a hot drink whereas our 3 hour tours are more adventurous and cover more area. The 3 hour tour includes lunch at our backcountry cabin.

DRESS FOR THE WEATHER
YOU WILL NEED SNOW PANTS, SNOW JACKET, WARM GLOVES AND BOOTS. IF YOU ARE MISSING GEAR, WE CAN PROVIDE SOME AT OUR BASE.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
WE HAVE LOTS OF OTHER WINTER ACTIVITIES. DOG SLEDDING, SNOWSHOEING, PRIVATE DINING AT OUR LOG CABIN AND AN APRES ADVENTURE AT OUR TEEPEE.

BOOKING INFORMATION

All Blackcomb Snowmobile drivers are required to be at least 19 years of age and have a valid drivers license with no restrictions to be able to operate an Snowmobile. An N license is valid, L license is not. 

We require at least 24 hours notice prior to your tour for any changes or cancellations. Groups of 10 or more require 72 hours notice of change or cancellation. Tours cancelled within 24 hours of tour time, ‘no shows’ or missed tour times are liable for the full price of their booking. We reserve the right to cancel or combine any tour due to inclement weather, un-foreseeable hazards or insufficient bookings. A credit card number is required to confirm all bookings. The credit card used to book must be present when checking in on the day of your tour as well as the card holder or valid ID.

We offer Cancellation Protection on bookings with less than 10 people. This must be purchased at time of booking. Purchasing cancellation protection will allow you to cancel your tour and receive a 100% refund up to 1 hour before your tour departure time. It also allows you one opportunity to reschedule your tour for a future date. You will then have the option to purchase another Cancellation protection for the new tour date. If you purchase cancellation protection and do not show up for your tour or do not notify us 1 hour before your scheduled departure time, you will be liable for 100% of the booking

To ensure proper social distancing, we are recommending that guests drive directly to our base facility in the Callaghan Valley. Conveniently located just South of Whistler off Highway 99 on Callaghan Valley Road, we provide easy access and ample free parking. If you do not have transportation, please choose one of our pick up locations when booking. We are running shuttles with some limitations and masks are mandatory on board.

Stop by our head office located in the lobby level of The Hilton Whistler Resort. A credit card is required to hold all reservations at the time of booking. The credit card used to book must be present when checking in on the day of your tour as well as the card holder or valid ID. By entering your credit card details you are authorizing that your card will be charged at the time of the tour if no other method of payment is presented.

Blackcomb Snowmobile tours involve many risks, dangers and hazards which are outlined in our Release of Liability Agreement that is required to be signed at the time of your trip. Waiver agreements can only be signed by participants of at least 19 years of age. Under age passengers are required to have a parent or legal guardian sign for them. All guests are required to read and sign before participating in any of our tours. The agreement will affect your legal rights should you be involved in an accident. Copies of this agreement are available from our head office and base facility.

We highly recommend guests wear their own winter gear. This includes a winter jacket, pants, warm gloves, boots and balaclava to wear under your helmet.  We do have extra gear at our base for guests to use, however due to Covid-19 we recommend that you wear whatever you have and we will supply the rest. Keep in mind there is no “special” snowmobile gear. We provide standard winter gear for warmth.
